Truck Trailer Tire

The most commonly used semi trailer tires are 11.00R20 steel tire and 12.00R22.5 vacuum tire. They are widely used for standard trailers, dumpers and trailers hauling different kinds of hazardous chemicals. Among them, 12.00R22.5 vacuum tires are equipped for trailers transporting long-distance and under decent road condition with mostly 3 or 4 grooves.

Under poor road conditions or short distance transportation it is suggested to equipp 11.00R20 steel tire or 12.00r22.5 vacuum tire with block grooves. Nowadays, 12R22.5 12-layer vacuum tires are seen more often, but most of the 16-layer and 18-layer vacuum tires are also used. The higher the tire layer, the higher the durability factor, and the safe it is.
